ABS fittings are designed solely for drain, waste, and vent applications. They are utilized in gravity-driven waste removal systems and are intended for non-pressure scenarios, with temperature limits not exceeding 140F. The materials used for ABS are lightweight and straightforward to install. They do not require any specialized tools for cutting and are installed using solvent cement (primer is not necessary).
