Max push-to-connect ball valves offer the quickest and simplest method for installing a new or replacement water shut-off valve. The newly designed stainless steel collet retainer enhances strength and durability, providing a pressure rating of 250 psi. Max fittings and valves eliminate the need for a PEX tube liner, and a re-engineered body allows for easier pipe insertion with less effort. The single lever quarter-turn handle enables rapid control of water flow, particularly in confined areas. There is no need for soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or specialized tools. Once the pipe is inserted, stainless steel teeth grip the pipe securely while a specially formulated O-ring compresses around it to form a watertight seal. The valve can be rotated post-installation for quick adjustments, and it can be removed just as easily with a disconnect tool, allowing for replacement or reuse.
