287 Stitch Patterns & Direct Stitch Pattern Selection

The Juki DX-2000QVP comes pre-loaded with 287 stitches, including both decorative and utility options. There are also four alphabet/numeric fonts for personalizing quilts and many other projects. The LCD screen displays the type of presser foot you will need for whichever stitch is selected, so you’ll never have to worry about using the wrong one.

One-Touch Buttons

Equipped with convenient one-touch buttons, you will find the following options along the front of the machine: needle up/down, thread cutter, lock stitch, start/stop, speed control slider, reverse stitch, presser foot lift, and a threading lever. With these buttons, you can raise or lower the needle, prevent your stitches from coming undone, use them in place of the foot control, and much more.

Programmable Foot Control

The 2000QVP has seven operations that can be carried out when depressing the front section of the foot controller. You can set the foot control to do a “reverse stitch”, “lock stitch”, “half stitch sewing”, “one stitch sewing”, “presser foot lifting/lowering”, “thread trimming,” or “no function”. * The default setting is the “reverse stitch.”

Box Feed

Equipped with box feeding technology, your feed dogs move in a rectangular-shaped rotation rather than a traditional elliptical feed. This box feed motion stays in contact with your fabrics longer, providing a consistent, reliable seam so you can piece perfectly without worrying about shifting or sliding materials.

INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATIC BUTTONHOLE FOOT

The industrial automatic buttonhole foot completely automates the process of creating buttonholes by using a sensor to detect the button’s size. The foot then transmits this information to the machine and creates an exact buttonhole! The only thing you have to do is cut it open once you’re done. Exclusive to the Juki Exceed line, the HZL-DX7 has a buttonhole width selection setting- meaning you get to control whether the opening is small, medium, or large, accommodating almost any button of your choosing.

STRAIGHT STITCH NEEDLE PLATE CONVERSION

If you’ve ever sewn thin materials, then you know how handy a straight stitch plate can be. This plate prevents lightweight fabrics from being pushed into the needle plate opening. Juki’s DX-2000QVP comes standard with a straight stitch slide plate built-in. To sew lightweight materials or free motion quilt, simply slide the straight stitch plate forward with the shift of a lever.

FLOATING PRESSER FOOT BUTTON

Press this button to lift the presser foot slightly. The Float Function is used when sewing or quilting materials like velvet that are likely to cause cloth slippage between two layers. It prevents puckering between stitch areas when quilting or sewing multiple layers of thick fabric. The height of the presser foot can be set in increments of 0.1 mm, allowing precise adjustment for the specific material you are working with.

AUTOMATIC BOBBIN WINDER

Juki’s DX-2000QVP includes a built-in bobbin winder, so you never have to worry about running out of bobbins again. When the machine is through, the shaft stops automatically, and the regulator moves to the right and returns to its original position.

Pivot Function

The pivot function on the DX-2000QVP allows you to easily change the sewing direction while leaving both hands on the fabric. For example, when sewing corners of appliqus, the machine automatically raises the presser foot when sewing is stopped with the needle in the down position, so you don’t lose your spot.

5 Year Warranty

Juki America, Inc. will ensure your machine’s performance for 5 years from the time the machine is purchased. Coverage is limited to repair or necessary replacement of parts caused by defects in workmanship and materials.
