ABS fittings are designed exclusively for drain, waste, and vent applications. They are utilized in systems that rely on gravity for waste removal and are intended for non-pressure scenarios where temperatures do not surpass 140F. ABS materials are lightweight and straightforward to install. They do not need any specialized tools for cutting and are put together using solvent cement (primer is not necessary).
